shopping| the not so perfect pants

do you know the feeling when you wanted something for so long, you just could never find the perfect piece? do you know the feeling when you think that you finally found just that - right size, right color, right fit, right everything?
you do? good.
then just imagine waiting for something, getting excited, only to find out that this piece actually sucks arse.

as some of you may remember, i was thinking of buying the zara leather pants. i'm emphasizing the word 'pants' as they turned out to be leggins really. then, the fit - not good at all. saggy, not charming my legs in any way. the only thing that turned out to be true about those.. things that you wrap your legs in is that it is actually leather. at least it smells like it.

so yeah, saved 200 bucks and not recommending those pants whatsoever.

let the hunt for the perfect leather pants commence.

hello, my name is copycat.

bei meinem letzten zara-streifzug ist mir etwas ins auge gestochen (sagt man das so?), das ich euch nicht vorenthalten wollte.
ich selbst war ja immer ein großer fan des flower mesh jumpers von american apparel. mit 66 pfund in uk wäre er auch sicherlich billiger gewesen als in deutschland, allerdings musste ich in der umkleidekabine feststellen, dass er mir nicht stand.
bei zara hing der jumper in fast gleicher ausführung für ungefähr 35 pfund weniger.

ca. 29 pfund (ungefähr 35€) bei trf

wer den pulli von american apparel kennt, kann sehen, dass dieser hier echt eins zu eins gleich aussieht.

zara war ja schon öfter in den 'schlagzeilen' durch zahlreiche gelungene kopier-versuche (man erinnere sich nur an das berühmt-berüchtigte katzenkleid und auch die kommende kollektion wurde schon mit der von gucci, jil sander und co verglichen). natürlich ist american apparel im gegensatz zu miu miu keine große designer-marke.. 

wie findet ihr solche aktionen? gut, da es euer portemonnaie schont oder schlecht, da nachmachen einfach garnicht geht?
