it has been a whole while. life has been full of changes and surprises lately and i was busy keeping track of them all.
i miss blogging though so i will shortly resume to being here again. being full of new ideas, creativity and many many changes ahead, i hope you will stay with me.

life |new year's resolutions

new year's resolutions - i actually like them. not the ones that sound like everybody else's (lose weight, find love, blabla), but the ones that really make you look forward to the new year. plus, i think mine are pretty easy to achieve:

- wear more heels

- buy more shoes (hello mum, if you read this. sorry, yes, i mean it!)

- be more daring

- most important: save more money to buy great stuff, leave cheap and unnecessary things behind.

i am already on a mission to fulfill my last resolution: i having been going radical on my closet, dismissing all the things that have filled me with the slightest doubt about me ever wearing them again.
i really just want to keep the basics and the things that i really really really like and do constantly wear. i have already sold five things and i am planning on putting up more and more so my closet will look as empty as can be when i'm done.

it would not be me though if i didn't plan on buying new things. this year, however, i will try to be very conscious about the things that i take home with me. i would like to stay away from shops like h&m as i think that they just support consumerism and make us unconscious about the things that we really need and really want. if you would like to support my little mission, just click here or on the shop-button in the sidebar and maybe you will find something that you like.

on a side note, a few more resolutions are to wear more lipstick and to read elle uk as the only fashion magazine every month.

first of all - a very merry berry (belated) christmas to all of you! i hope you got to spend time with the ones you love most and to just relax.
i, for my part, tried my best. however, i am still quite exhausted from the last.. months, i guess, so i was not really in the mood for taking pictures all the time. plus, i really am dissatisfied with the way my outfit pictures look as i am tired of all the detail shots. therefore, i am still figuring out a way to make myself more content. hope i will find a solution to this soon!

to not be a complete disappointment, some shots i took during the last days. another post is just about to be prepared, so this should be the end to my little christmas pause!

dress/jacket/bag - all zara (hello monotony)

talk. about. over. consumption.
all in all, it is not too much. a dress, a jacket, pants (see last post) and a bag. combine it though, add up the prices - what was i thinking? haha but i really cannot help it as i love every single piece and two of them (jacket and bag) i've wanted for a very long time so i thought with christmas around, i would deserve a treat. WRONG THOUGHT!
i just hope that this post will keep me from buying more stuff for myself that i actually did put on my wishlist for christmas. i am just so afraid that the things that i want will be gone before anyone could give them to me. i am obviously nuts.

do you get the same? i just always make wishlists and in most cases, i buy all the things myself.

outfit | it's all for you

i am lacking creativity, majorly lacking it. i've been browsing tumblr for hours and days now, it is not getting any better. it starts with having no ideas what to gift everybody for christmas and ends with hating my entire closet, although there is so much stuff in there that i have wanted forever now.

in addition, i am just the most impatient person right now. i would love to buy everything off my christmas wish list stat, anxious that people won't give it to me haha. also, taking pictures of myself is the last thing that i can do right now. i am always so frickin unsatisfied with everything!

oh well, maybe i just need a break. 2 more weeks of work to go and i am off for a couple of days.

anyways, say hi to my new pants (that i never want to clean as i am afraid that the color will fade and the wonderful softness will leave as well). and the necklace, that is.
