maybe it is not the newest thing on the block, however, i really like the idea of getting things from the hardware store and turn them into something beautiful. one of my favourite bloggers, ivania from love aesthetics, has a great talent at doing so.
the things you would find in a hardware store a usually cheap and they are so simple, it is just perfect.

i just hope that i will have my own apartment soon so i can put tubes and steel thread everywhere. okay, maybe that is a bit of exaggeration, butsome time to be creative would be nice for a change.

outfit | plain white t

first of all: sorry for the rubbishness of the pictures. it is just very difficult to master the nerve to take some head-to-toes at around 7am.
well so the outfit - i usually don't go for all-black-with-a-white-spot but sometimes i just love it. so when i was thinking about what to wear today, i didn't want to put too much effort in it (remember, 7am..) - black suede flats, black (well at least it was black once) jeans by cheap monday, black mango blazer and to top it all off - a plain white tshirt by american apparel. my beloved metallic clutch was the only colour that i had on me today.
to emphasize the simplicity of this outfit, i wore a tiny peace-ring that i got on asos a couple of months ago.

so, on another note: i miss blogging. i crave it. as well as i crave fashion and i have this huuge urge to go shopping. so i ordered some bits and pieces online a couple of days ago and hopefully, they are going to arrive come weekend.
speaking of which - weekend, i cannot wait for you to finally be here!

trends| my autumn to-have-list

i am ready - come on in now, autumn.
i've had it with that mishmash weather that cannot decide if it wants to be a hurricane or a desert sunshine. so, bring on that fall wardrobe!

1. leather pants. crucial. zara, you're going to be mine. enough said.
2 & 3. call it ikat, call it navajo, call it aztek - i do not mind as long as it's gonna keep me warm and comfy.
4 & 5. glitter. metallic shades. do i really need to say more? by the way, dear xl-sequins, can we please get married right away?
6 & 7. some fake fur never hurts (literally)
8. well, chunky jewellery (especially rings) do not necessarily belong to the fall season, however, i wouldn't want to miss them when it gets cold.
9. leather boots, you are hopefully going to keep me warm and tough throughout the very early mornings and the very late nights when i won't get to go home in the sunshine anymore.

okay, maybe i should stop thinking about this because now i am craving it all.

shopping| to buy or not to buy?

kaum verkaufe ich einige lieblingsstücke, hätte ich zwei neue gerne im kleiderschrank.
nicht erst seit gestern liebäugele ich mit diesen schuhen und der lederhose von zara.
vor allem die hose hat es mir angetan - schon lange suche ich nach einer echtleder-röhre, für die sich das geld auch lohnt.
nun ist eben die frage, ob zara diesmal etwas kreiiert hat, was qualitativ auch wirklich überzeugt. der preis spielt da in meinen augen eine eher geringe rolle, denn schließlich kann man sich sehr teure sachen von namhaften designern kaufen, die einen enttäuschen, man kann aber genauso gut 10€ für ein teil ausgeben, was einem über jahre treu bleibt.
nun kostet die hose 200€ und die schuhe sind auch kein schnäppchen. daher meine frage - würdet ihr es wagen?

was soll ich groß sagen - diese woche ist stress pur und ein ende ist wohl erst ab morgen abend in sicht, wenn es endlich wieder wochenende ist.
daher werdet ihr es mir hoffentlich nachsehen, dass ich eher weniger lust hatte (geschweige denn zeit), irgendwelche bilder zu machen.
